What is the difference between Virgin Hair and Beauty Store Hair?
A lot of hair brands from beauty stores are claiming to be Remy but this is not true. The cuticle has been stripped with an acid bath and sometimes combined with animal hair, and/or synthetic fibers or fabric. This hair is coated in silicone which can lose its shine after several washer which causes extensive matting, tangles, and shedding and the hair is not reusable. Virgin hair however has not been processed or treated with any tyoe of chemicals. The hair is in its natural state with its cuticles running in the same direction and in tact. You can color, bleach and process virgin hair as you would your own and can last up to a year depending on care.
How many bundles of hair will I need for an install?
Typically 2 bundles can complete an install with lengths 12-16 inches. 18-24 inches 3 bundles are recommended.
How do I pay for my Alter Ego products?
PayPal is the safest and trusted website. If you have an account with Paypal log in. If you do not have an account simply select PAY WITH CARD. In special situations Western Union or Money Gram can be used for payment.
What color hair is available?
All bundles are 100% non-processed hair. So the natural color of the donors usual 1B (Off Black) or 2 (Dark Brown). However all Virgin hair can be colored to your discretion. If you would like a licensed stylist to precolor your bundles before shipment. Email [email protected] with request. *fee does apply
What is the return and exchange policy?Unfortunately due to sanitation issues the Custom Wigs, and Body Shapers can not be exchanged or refunded. However the bundled hair can exchanged if item is in the same condition as received within 7 days. Returns are accepted with prior approval at Alter Egos discretion customer pays return shipping and 20% restocking fee. Any custom jewelry can be exchanged within 7 days at Customers return shipping cost. Please allow 30 days for processing of returns/exchanges.
What are the shipping options and processing time?
Shipping is free for orders over $100.00. Standard shipping rates apply.
Orders are processed Monday-Friday 9-5pm. Processing time is typically 3-5 days after confirmed payment receipt. Once order is processed the order is promptly shipped out via U.S.P.S. Once order is shipped you will received a tracking number and the postal service is responsible for getting your package to your door.
